I am sure not happy to see that HP has taken over Poly. I have a stack of 7 5200's. There is no beating the way they perform, but for me they have always lived a very short life. They are good enough that I have continued to buy them, until now I think.
I needed some support today. This is the first time since buying this headset. Crazy timing, I have 3 days of warranty remaining. This is when I discovered HP taking over Poly. Poly was always available for support. I stopped buying HP products about 15 years ago because of the awful support. I see it is no different now. Still unable to reach anyone with any level of reasonable convenience.
Can anyone suggest an alternative to the 5200 series that is not in any way owned by HP? Criteria is good noise cancellation, good voice quality and decent Bluetooth range.
