After updating our Poly Voyager 4320 we have started hearing 2 beeping noises every so often, is so annoying that some of the people in the office have decided to stop using Poly headsets.

this happens when the device is connected to a laptop, or phone or connected to nothing.

I am very disappointed as we have invested a significant amount of money in Poly devices, and now I am considering switching to another brand.

Hello, @OK4UK_Academy, and welcome to the HP Poly community.

We are sorry to hear that you are facing this issue with the Poly Voyager 4320. Please be assured that all our agents are working towards the best resolution possible. We would never intend to disappoint our customers.

However, could you please follow a few troubleshooting steps mentioned below and let us know if the issue persists?

1. Could you please try it with a different mobile phone or a PC?
2. Could you please restore the headset settings to default on the Poly Lens application by connecting the headset to the PC? Once done, please switch off and switch on the headset again to save the changes made.
3. Could you please confirm if the provided USB dongle is connected to the PC?
4. Could you please set the headset as the default in the sound settings of the PC?

I hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance. If you find the information provided useful or solves your problems, help other users find the solution more easily by giving Kudos/Thumbs Up and marking my post as an Accepted Solution.

1. Could you please try it with a different mobile phone or a PC?

Answer: same thing happens when the headset is connected to a phone, laptop or not connected to anything
2. Could you please restore the headset settings to default on the Poly Lens application by connecting the headset to the PC? Once done, please switch off and switch on the headset again to save the changes made.

Answer: done that and the same thing happens
3. Could you please confirm if the provided USB dongle is connected to the PC?

Answer: with or without the dongle the same issue.
4. Could you please set the headset as the default in the sound settings of the PC?

Answer: once again this does not only happen when connected to PC.

The noise started after the firmware update. we are talking about 7 headsets bought at the same time and the update was done only days apart. the headsets that have not been updated work fine and I have advised the staff to uninstall the Poly app to ensure that the headsets will not get updated.

I am really sorry for all the inconvenience caused to you with the headsets. @OK4UK_Academy

It seems like you have tried almost all the troubleshooting, and it looks like the headset is faulty. I would request that you contact HP Support to get the headset replaced if it is under warranty, and our support engineers should be able to sort this out.
