Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have a flashing red light on my headset but am unable to find a reason as to why.

It flashes alternately on either side of the earpiece that has the mic attached

I have tested with Mute on or off and whether i was in a  call or not.

It goes off when sat on the charging cradle but starts again when removed from the charger.

Hello Wheats77, welcome to the HP Poly community.
Could you please follow a few troubleshooting steps and let me know if it works?
1. Could you please let me know if the headset is charging?
2. Could you please reset and disable the sensors and check if it works?

Reset sensors:
There are two ways to reset the headset sensors. Choose:
• With your headset powered on, charge your headset on the charge stand for 10 seconds
• Power on your headset while pressing the Mute button for more than 4 seconds until the LEDs flash purple 4 times, being careful to not touch the earcup padding or allow it to come in contact with surfaces
Disable sensors:
You can disable your headset smart sensors 2 ways:
• Manage sensors in Poly Lens App • Hold both the Mute and Call buttons for more than 4 seconds until the LED flashes purple then red. Repeat to reactivate; the LED flashes purple then blue.

3. Please check for any firmware updates and update them.
Once done please switch off and switch on the headset to save the changes made.

Regards,
Meghana

My BT700 is flashing Blue with the headset flashing the first and last LEDS as well - have turned off Sensors etc, headset is charging....

Seems to occur after I make a call - I hang up on the PC screen WEBEX app but the headset still thinks it is in a call - so flashes to indicate same - have to put headset on and press the answer/drop call button on the headset a couple of times and  then it goes into a standby state with BT700 solid blue and just the power LEDS showing on the headset as it charges till its is charged up then they go out.

Strange that it does not recognize the WEBEX app hanging up when WEBEX is a supposedly compatible app.
