Just sent in my new (13months old) hp spectre and received a replacement with my extended warranty. The previous laptop had burn-in and the first just stopped working for those wondering. The new hp spectre cannot find any connected speakers, it can not find a camera either. I am going to send it back in since the replacement has more parts broken than the one I sent in, but I was hoping for advice on what do to after. I can't keep replacing my laptop and redownloading secure software on it each year, is there a way to improve my chances of getting a replacement that doesn't come half broken? Has anyone else had similar problems with the spectre just breaking down after a year?
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks
