Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Greets!

The 450 G3 screen has had a reddish line across the bottom for years and not being into computers in general and my first laptop and since others haven't commented on it, assumed it was normal, but tonight while watching a youtube video the 'blinked' and turned multiple green shades of different width vertical bars with only a thin strip at the top looking normal, though the thin reddish line is now gone.

This is an HP Workbook I got Christmas 2016, so not that old and has some programs I know nothing about and only paid  extra for it as it was the only one anywhere near me that had the Win 7pro [64] I need for the old programs I use, but don't pay for the repair/whatever service, just when I bought it there was problems that they fixed once I allowed them into it over the net.

So, anything I can do or just need a new video card? or........? Someone mentioned that Win 7pro [64] might not work properly on new machines; is this true?

TIA,

Alteca5
