How is this not covered under the battery recall? HP keeps closing my support cases and refusing to replace this battery that gotten big enough before I noticed it to create a "wave" across the touchpad and keyboard. I found a post where HP says that these batteries will not explode or leak. THAT IS NOT TRUE. We have replaced hundreds of them from Dell and HP under the recall from a couple of years back. Trust me, they come completely apart and LEAK and damage the computer. Not in all cases, but they do.
This is a manufacturers defect and consumers should NOT be responsible for replacing these batteries.
