Hello, after a fresh installation of Windows 11 on ProBook 6460b, the touchpad and keyboard work correctly, but after installing some updates, both stopped working. They work fine in the BIOS. Even with a clean install of Windows 11, they work, but I have to block the updates.I can't understand which updates are causing problems.

Hi:
I have zipped up and attached the Microsoft Hide Windows update utility below.
With the touchpad and keyboard in working order, unzip and run the update.
It will find pending updates waiting to be installed.
Check the boxes to hide updates you may think are causing the problem.
The tool will run again and report the problem is 'Fixed.'
Restart the notebook and see if everything works as it should.

Thanks for the reply. I ran the attachment, but it didn't find any updates waiting to be installed. I also tried viewing hidden updates, and there was only one related to Windows Defender. Note that the program displayed a warning that it had been withdrawn from service. In Device Manager, I noticed that the touchpad driver is a Synaptics driver from 2017. I removed this driver to install the previous Microsoft generic driver from 2006, and the touchpad works. As for the keyboard, there's a generic driver from 2006. However, the problem persists: I remove the device, reboot, and it works. If I reboot 10 times, it still works, but now comes the best part: if I turn it off and turn it back on, it doesn't work. I also tried on another 6470b with a different installation of Win 11, and I have the same problem. With Win 10 22H2 (19045.6093), everything is perfect.

Unfortunately it didn't work, There were no pending updates. However, I removed the 2017 Synaptics touchpad driver and rolled back the Microsoft generic driver, and it works. The keyboard, on the other hand, does not. It already has the generic driver from 2006. If I remove the keyboard from the devices I restart and it works. If restarting again works, try it 10 times in a row. But if I turn off the notebook and turn it back on it doesn't work 🤔
