I bought a laptop 2 months ago, and it has been randomly crashing since the beginning. Now, it fails to boot up at all and says Boot Device Not Found.
Since the laptop is only 2 months old, it is clearly still under warranty. Even the HP website shows that the warranty is Active and has 9 months remaining. However, I've called HP support multiple times and they eventually just flat out tell me they will not do anything about it. I have tried to request to speak to a supervisor, but they give me the runaround and claim someone will call back in several hours, which doesn't happen.
Now that I'm looking at the forums, I realize I'm not the only one with this problem. It seems HP is not the company it used to be, and their "warranties" are complete garbage. I have always only bought HP laptops, but never again.
