HP EliteBook 850 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have created with the HPQPswd.exe tool a bin file for my BIOS password. When using BCU with the created file I am getting the error code: 10 ("Valid password not provided"). I doublechecked and I am 110% sure that the right BIOS password has been used with the BCU tool. I have  created the bin file using both x86 and x64 versions and every time I am getting the same erro code 10!?

The command used for upgrading is:

BIOSConfigUtility64.exe /set:"MyConfigFile.txt" /cpwdfile:"MyBIOSPwdFile.bin"

I am using the lates version of BCU (4.0.25.1 - sp88497)

Manually  I can logon w/o any problem to the BIOS with my password.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
