I've read about this before and found the answer to this question provided by HP stupid.

Previously this question was asked here: My ac adapter keeps falling out of the power input on the si... - HP Support Community - 6710731

The answer provided was as hilarious as the video posted above.  In the above question, it was stated clearly that the adapter connector keeps falling out of the side of the (actual) computer.  This is the same problem affecting my 10000-dollar (at the time of it being build) zBook laptop.  So, before anyone provides the "is your laptop plugged in?" question as an answer to my question, can someone at HP just address this issue of how poorly the connector is designed?

There are things that can be done (more likely for future models), like the way that Audio adapters have been made, so that they do not slide out so easily.   Maybe one could design a small indentation and a hook?  Even just a little magnet could also help.  Just a small tweak in the design would help the metal part of the plug from constantly falling out.  I mean, we are talking about high-end computers here, not low-grade consumer stuff.
