HP EliteBook Folio 9470m Ultrabook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased a new battery for my HP EliteBook Folio 9470m will not surpass the 27% to full charge.

Stuck at 27%?

Icon shows as 27% available (plugged in charging).

Suggestions appreciated!

Thank you

Thanks for the suggestions.  Charger tested out fine.

One mistake I made on the new battery, it was reccomended to let the battery run to empty prior to charging it to full capacity.

With that now I could not move forward with your suggestion of the link you provided due to the laptop will no longer power on without the charger plugged in to get to the settings for the battery option test/changes to make in their UEFI.

Hi!, @jgv1 :

The lithium-ion batteries, which are provided with HP computers, do not need to be completely downloaded, to be charged again. If this happens, the battery will take more time to charge, generate more heat inside the computer and its useful life will decrease as it is measured by the number of charges.
It is convenient to configure the power and to warn, for example, when it arrives, at 50% and there to install, the adapter / charger, until it reaches 100% and there it will disconnect automatically until it returns to consume.
