Issue with Battery , as per virtual diagnostic the battery is weak and needs replacment. I have an extended HP Care pack and the system pulled out the details and stated Warranty is Active for another 13 months. It lists that Deliverables includes Battery Repace. The Virtual Assistant when quizzed what HP Care pack covers also confirms that ""In case of product failure due to hardware malfunction, battery issues or other product defects: HP Care Pack services provide product pick-up and return to the address of your choice, including transportation, arts and labour."
But the Tech help desk clearly refutes that Battery replacment is covered. I need to buy a new battery which will cost Rs 9k ( i got the Notebook for 38k. Its a clear ripoff. The Care pack is silent and u need to read between the lines but the Digital Assistant clearly state that its covered.
Can anyone help to secure this as is mentioned by the Digital and Virtual support system of HP
Can any other battery (cheaper i am sure) be compatible ?
Thanks

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Apologies for all the inconvenience!
We understand that its second battery is replaced which is failed quick period of time and calibration is not required with new genuine HP batteries.
Please find the document HP Notebook PCs - Improving battery performance (Windows) link

Absolutely irrelevant reply. It is typical of HP to deflect the issues. In plain English I have written my issue of battery replacement and you are talking about preventive maintenance to avoid a situation and caring for a battery to improve performance.Have you not understood my issue.?
Please read my post again if you think you can't figure out my issue ask again but don't give responses that do not even address my issue even 1%
Neither you nor HP Customer support ,after sales is willing to discuss thisattet.Thech helpdesk says talk to After Sales and After Sales asks me to talk to customer support.Nice ping pong game you guys wish to play. Its frustrating and if I don't get a resolution I hope to seek other support mechanisms.
