Product: Probook 450 G7
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there !


I am using Probook 450 G7 and it is less than a month after purchase.


today, HP support assistant program showed error 42 that releated to battery.


and this error apear when only it connected with AC adapter.

 

is it critical problem ? I will visit service center soon, but I want to know early about it.

 

Please, let me know.

HP Support Assistant has a battery check tool... run it and it will show if there are any battery cell defects... if it shows that, the battery can be replaced under warranty... there is also a battery test diagnostics tool when booting into F10 and running the UEFI diagnostics to check on the status of the battery

I have exchanged laptop with new one.

 

engineer found battery fail in my laptop.
