My laptop is around a year old. Every time I take it on a trip, the battery has a reoccurring issue:

When I unplug the laptop and use the battery, then plug it back in, the laptop says it is charging but the battery level won't increase. I can use the laptop while it is plugged in but since the battery level won't increase, I have to be tethered the whole time. Right now, the laptop is plugged in and "charging" but won't charge past 6%.

I reported this to HP earlier this year, but the battery started working after it was docked, so I thought it was resolved. However, now that I am on another trip, the issue is back and I cannot use my laptop without being plugged in the whole time.

I tried the 60-second power button solution that has worked for other people but it isn't fixing it. I am using the 65W charger that came with the laptop.

Any ideas? Thanks!
