Example: Pavilion AMDA6 Radeon R4
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I  am receiving popups that look genuine about my warranty expiring. When I followed one it asked for £18.40 for 2 years to a company called best2serve  who are an agent for HP )apparantly). It all looks very legit except it says my warranty expired on theth June 2018. I only bought the laptop new one week earlier from PC World so surely it is till under warranty.

I very nearly bought this and then had second thoughts. PLease help

I also have amnother laptop that is about 18 months old. Is there a way I can check its warranty status online?

Thanks

Jamie

Use this link to check the warranty

You can submit a dispute to  HP to validate your warranty.  See the following document to see how that can be done.

Hi I receive the following message. My laptop was bought from PC World (like Frys in USA) a reputable store. Does the message mean the warranty is with the store

It is not clear as to which laptop we are talking about.  For the one you stated that you recently bought, you can dispute the warranty date at the following web document by providing information to HP for the company to review.

When I look up your PC by its product name, I see it is a 2017 PC. The factory warranty for a non-premium or high-end business PC is for one year.

That would mean that if you purchased it before October 13 2017, the free factory warranty has expired, unless you purchased an extended warranty  or Care pack with HP or a care plan with PC world. The Care Pack is  indeed done through Best2Serve, an HP Partner.

If you did purchase a care plan with PC World, you can contact them through the web forms at the following link.
