Camera on HP Elite Folio notebook showing black screen

Product: HP Elite Folio notebook
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My camera stopped working today. I use the face recognition to log in. It worked a few times this morning. Then couldn’t pick me up and I had to log in with my pin. When I go into the camera app it just shows a black screen. It won’t pick up anything. I just ordered it in August and has worked fine until today. Any ideas on what to do to make it work?  I have a proctored exam to take in a few days and need the camera to work. Thanks.
