Good Morning
My daughters laptop screen was intermitantly not coming on. HP diagnostics stated that it was more than likely the harddrive and asked me to send it in under warranty. I have now been advised that we need to pay £366.00 to have it repaired as the casing is showing damage and that invalids the warranty even though the hard drive issue is not connected. I appreciate that this charge includes a new casing but we are being given no choice to to just have the actual issue fixed FOC. Is this something that I just have to accept?

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to assist you.
I see that there is an issue with the laptop hardware and may need repair or additional support.
The support here is limited and this issue might require one-on-one interaction to fix it.
