Dear HP customer service,
the charger of my HP EliteBook x360 1030 G3 is not working anymore since today and I wonder what I can do about it.
As I need my notebook, I just bought the same charger again but wanted to know how you can replace the old charger or just pay the bill for my new charger.
Thanks for helping!
Martin

Unsolicited Opinion:
The time to open a case with HP is before you purchase replacement parts. In my opinion, and assuming the computer is under warranty, HP would likely replace a charger that is diagnosed (and confirmed by HP) as defective. That HP will reimburse the cost of customer purchased parts may not be included in the warranty contract.
Nonetheless, regardless of my personal opinion, our Community does not speak for HP Technical Support nor do we have any connection with Warranty services.
Please contact HP Technical Support in your region; open a case, explain the issue and ask about options.

Thanks for helping!
I was spending a long time on the HP support website to figure out, which number I can call or which form I should fill.
Most of the websites showed that I still have 29 month of extended warrenty left, but for some reason my guarantee "expired".
For people having similar problems: In the end I called my local HP headquarter and they redirected my to the customer support who was very helpful and just sent me the new charger via express.

You are welcome.
Excellent outcome. Smiling.
The "online" warranty information is usually good - as you have found, though, sometimes the data is not up-to-date or there are other issues.
Happy Computing!
