Product: Probook 455 G8
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am looking for a charger that supports power delivery to charge my Probook 455 G8 via Type C port. I tried to find out through HP accessories but unfortunately they are not sold in Vietnam, where I live. So I tried to find a GaN charger that supports PD to charge the laptop, but I have heard that HP laptops are very picky about chargers from other brands. So is that true or not?

Pages 22 and 23 of the Manual show the following AC adapters support USB-C connection for the series

 

  • 65 W, nPFC, USB-C, 1.8 m (6 ft) part # L67440-001
  • 45 W, nPFC, USB Type-C, 1.8 m (6 ft), 3 pin part #  L43407-001

I don't know what is your machine, does it use 45W or 64W therefore  you can use 65W .
