Probook 6560b
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Good afternoon,

Since a couple of days my HP Probook 6560b won't boot anymore.

When i press the power button the charging light blinks amber.

When i press the power button with the laptop plugged in, battery out, the charging light blinks white.

Nothing else happens

maybe some usefull information:

- tried 3 different harddisks (the original one.. a SSD and another 2.5 hdd)

- I did not update the bios

- tried holding the power button 20 secs and starting it up without the battery but plugged in.

- changed the memory

- I wrapped the original harddisk in plastic and put it in the fridge

My laptop no longer has warranty, I really hope for someone to help me.

Did you get an answer for your issue? I have the same problem and I can't get it to start up either!!

If it doesn't turn on, your problem is not the hard drive! Don't risk your data by putting it in the fridge!

If you had an HDD problem, you would be getting errors along the lines of "Operating system not found" or "No bootable devices found" and you would probably hear clicks...

I would start by trying a  different battery and/or power adapter.
