Charging problem

HP Recommended
HP Pavillion Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I've had my notebook for a while now and it has always been working fine.

But recently the charging process stopped working for some reason, it will only charge when the notebook is off or in sleep mode but the moment I turn it on it stops charging.

Anyone know why this is happening and how i can fix it?

Help is very appreciated!

Greetings,

Vincent

What level is the battery at?

For example, my laptop is showing the battery is at 95% and not charging.

This is done so as not to wear out the battery by constantly charging it.

Nothing is wrong with the battery i think, it works fine. It does recharge to full and can get it down to 0% again. The problem is that it only charges when it's off.
When hovering over the battery icon on my screen when i try to recharge it when it is on it says that i can't recharge it for some reason...
I've honestly no idea what to do.
