Choosing a laptop for university studies

HP ProBook x360 11 G1 EE Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey guys can you please help me in deciding between a HP probook x360 11 G1 EE notebook pc or a HP x360 11.6” Pentium Convertible Laptop 11-ab019TU , any help and experties will be truly appreciated. please reply asap. My intented purposes for this laptop is mainly university work such as taking notes, powerpoints and looking through videos and such. If you can recommend ny other laptop for under 500 please let me know 🙂

I know these are very sexy little laptops but you are very likely to find an 11 inch screen confining if you need to write something on it for very long or stare at the screen very long. For serious work a larger screen is better even if it is going to be heavier. At least a 13 inch and your best bang for the buck is going to come with a 15 inch screen. Also those have very limited processing power which you will notice very quickly

 

If you can squeeze out another $80 this is an i7 laptop with a 14 inch screen:
