Serial number [Personal Information Removed] was purchased 2 years ago for £700 and is now broken down. It is used in frequently. I have had to pay Curry's £75 to inspect it and they reported that it needed a new board at a cost of £300. I have refused this and have now had to purchase another computer. Not a happy customer and want to know if HP are prepared to compensate me in anyway.

Hello.
Since you're in GB, I recommend checking the local consumer protection rights if you are a consumer - not a business. Those statutory rights may force the original seller (or HP) to fix your computer gratis, or to compensate for the broken part and/or labour.
If you want to contact HP directly about this, call them and ask to escalate the case. This forum is mostly "peer-to-peer".
