Hello I'm trying to connect my HP Elitebook x360 830 G6 to my monitor which is a DELL 100-240V - 50/60Hz 1.5A.  I'm trying to connect using HDMI to HDMI but no luck.  Any idea how I can get this to work? (let me know if you need more info)

Thank you!

What you have listed is the electrical requirements for the monitor, not the model number.

Are you trying to connect directly or though a docking station?

What can you see in 'monitor settings'?

(Right-click on an empty area on the desktop, second to last menu item )

If you start 'Device Manager' ( click on the silly flag, and type devmgmt.msc ) do you see any devices with a triangle and exclamation mark symbol?
