zbook 15G6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all,

I just have my zbook15G6 delivered and finished setting up all software for my use. But then later I notice the laptop itself is getting hot (not warm) below, especially  the cooling fans seems never run, or just having 1 running only (Left).   Is this normal ?

I know it can be set to  request all fans running when AC powered , but for most of the time I use this laptop on battery and I don't want my legs burn while using this laptop .

Please help.  😞

make sure the BIOS and drivers are up to date... use HP Image Assistant for this and you will be fine... unless there is a hardware malfunction, the BIOS manages the fans based on internal system heat levels
