HP Pavilion Laptop 14

I use HP Pavilion Laptop 14 and i have observed that my computer does not have a good cooling system and fans work quite loud. Is there any way to exchange current fan and put inside a new one? If yes, what would be the best one to put inside?

What is the exact model of the HP PC you are using?

Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:


Install updates using HP Support Assistant

  1. In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant. 
  2. Check for updates. 
  3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.  

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.


Use HP software to manage the internal temperature - HP CoolSense Technology

Refer to this document for more info and to download the app.


Also, perform steps 1 and 2 mentioned in this document. If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.


Let us run a test on the hardware components of the PC


1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.

2. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.

3. Perform System Test > Extensive test. Share the result on your next post.
