Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15m-bq1xx - 2 month of using and my right hinge has become detached on the monitor side, causing bottom monitor frame to pop out. My laptop was in perfect condition.  No drops or bumps. Light use.  Based on the large number of HP customers that are experiencing this same issue, I can't help but to think this is a HP ENVY x360  hinge manufacturing defect.  Do you have a system in place to resolve this or am I on my own and left with a defective laptop?

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
