Hi guys.
I have a simple question. I have a ZBook 15 G3 that I am considering upgrading the GPU of. It's an MXM 3.0a board, M1000M, and I'm considering swapping it out for something more powerful.
However, I have more than an year's worth of warranty left and there's no way I'm giving that up.
I want to know, does having a qualified technician service my laptop's MXM slot with an HP original GPU void my warranty?

I always say: warranty is a gray area, if NO problem after an upgrade then no problem but anything went wrong after an upgrade (any) HP may refuse to honour warranty.
Hope this makes sense.
Regards.

That's not really a satisfactory response.
I need clearer stance on the standard acceptable policy.
I just noticed my 4K display is not registering as a DreamColour display either. I don't know why, but somehow it's not.
I'm considering sending this in for warranty at this point.
