Issues with users who are working off of the ELITEBOOK X360 1030 G2 tablets and a thunderbolt docking station. The issue is randomly, the docking station will stop working except for power (and occasionally ethernet). External monitors and peripherals stop working entirely.
We've noticed that if we enter the BIOS menu, the docking station will work once. However upon a reboot of the computer after the docking station worked once, it'll stop working again.
This is happening on multiple computers.
We have tried these computers on HP Elite 90W Thunderbolt 3 Dock, HP Thunderbolt Dock 120W G2, and HP Thunderbolt Dock 120W G2 with Audio drivers. Primarily using the Thunderbolt Dock 120W G2.
We have updated all drivers, updated all firmware, updated BIOS, reset the BIOS. We've reimaged some of the laptops, and we've even had one laptop get shipped to HP to have the motherboard replaced, but this model of laptop is still having these docking issues.
Has anyone had this issue with this model of laptop? It's definitely narrowed down to a laptop issue. Something with this model.

I have the same problem with my HP Elitebook 1030 G2 machine.
Additionally also the HDMI port does not work any more once the machine is in such a stage.
So there is no possibility to run an external monitor, even when not using the Docking station.
The error first occurred after changing the battery after swelling and upgrading to BIOS 01.34 from 01.31.
