Elite Book and Eny syncing

HP Recommended
Elite Book
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have h=just purchased a HP Elitebook to replace a HP Pavillion for my home computer. I have  a HP Envy for work (I'm a freelancer) and now that I've started to configure the EliteBook I note that it is synching This PC on the Elitebook with This PC on the Envy. and vice versa.  Actually I don't want this to happen....any thoughts on  how do I stop this synchronisation happening?

You might have "Sync" switched on in Settings > Accounts > Sync your settings

Switch the setting OFF or choose to synchronize individual settings.

Browsers are "synced" according to the settings and features available for that software.

For example

Firefox

If you use Firefox and you have a Firefox account, you can select to "sync".

Mozilla - How do I set up Sync on my computer?

For Chrome:

Data from Chrome sync
