Product: Elitebook 840 G3
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Since May, my laptop won't shutdown. After shutdown the fan starts running like crazy. The Harddisk and wifi lights stay on.

Even pressing the power button won't turn it off. I tried all sorts of fixes I found on the internet with no luck. I even opened the case and pulled BIOS battery still no good. Please help.

Hi:

 

The only suggestion I can offer if you have not done so already, would be to update the Intel Management Engine Interface driver to the latest version and restart the PC.
