HP 255 G8 Notebook PC (347S5AV)

Hello everyone, this is an issue I've been having for some time now but only now I decided to ask here. I have an HP 255 G8 (AMD Ryzen 7 5700U, 8GB of RAM, Vega 8 graphics with 4GB of VRAM and 256GB of NVMe SSD) that I use for many things, like schoolwork, watching videos and sometimes to play games. The laptop is normally very smooth in general and also when gaming too. Well, at least on battery. But playing on a laptop while it's not plugged in is a no-go because games require a certain amount of power. The issue is, when I plug in the laptop, the game suffers an extreme drop in FPS (I'm talking about 60 FPS to 20 FPS, sometimes even less). This doesn't always happen, but when it does there's no way to fix it except wait for some time and check if it works properly, but during that time I want to play games, not wait. I recorded the performance of 2 games (ULTRAKILL and DOOM 2016) while running both on battery and AC. It happens to every game.

I get that this laptop is not designed for gaming (has an U-series processor) and that DOOM 2016 (which by the way runs fine by lowering the resolution and graphics) is a relatively graphically intensive game, but given the specs it's kinda ridiculous that it cannot run ULTRAKILL (requires a potato to run) or Minecraft, which can be even lighter on the hardware than ULTRAKILL (or People Playground). My old Lenovo can be even faster sometimes (Intel Core i3-6006U, 4GB of RAM, 240GB SSD, Intel HD Graphics 520 with 1GB of VRAM) so I don't see why this hardware would perform so bad.

The installation packages still don't open (the BIOS update package did open and I updated the BIOS successfully). But as far as I can tell, the situation did not change, and even worse, the system (Windows 11) is less stable. It just crashed while I was trying to screen record. I recorded what happens when I try to install the drivers
