HP Envy x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-fh0000 (77W46AV)

Hello HP and anyone else who reads these - to begin with, my advice to anyone looking to buy something from this company, DON'T. They do NOT stand behind their products and don't care at all about their customers. Details:

Bought this computer from the HP Envy X360 in Nov of 2023. Within a couple weeks it was overheating terribly. Tech support said it needed BIOS update so they did that for me. Didn't fix the problem so they had me wipe my computer and reinstall entire OS and all software (read wipe out all my software and settings).

Fast forward a few weeks and the thing just freezes endlessly. No way to get it to stop except hold the power button down and restart (read loose all you work and data). This persisted for weeks. Many calls to tech support and countless hours on the phone with them - they claimed there was no issue. BS it was obvious. I pleaded with them to just replace the lemon that it was. Then they came up with, "you need a different docking station". The HP docking station I had (G4, new) wasn't compatible so I had to spend another $150 for a "G5".

I plugged the computer in to the new document station and left it unattended for a couple days. When I went to use it, it was so HOT that it could not even be touched! Could have easily burned my desk, maybe even caused a fire! I had to hold a towel on it while I yanked the power cord out. Waited about 20 minutes for it to cool down. It would not start. Waited another 20 minutes and it finally rebooted. I reached out AGAIN to HP asking to have it replaced. They refused again but finally after screaming at the person he decided to elevate the issue to their "safety department". They decided the want me to mail the machine back to them so they can "evaluate it". So now I have no computer (hasn't been on for a week now anyway) and they think they're going to take it for another month. This is such BS I cannot believe this is how the treat customers. I don't want it back - there is NO chance that other damage didn't occur while the thing got to over 100 degrees for days while it cooked on my desk.
