Fingerprints no longer work for power-on authentication

HP Recommended
HP Elitebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My fingerprint would always log me in, and then it suddenly stopped working between the times I logged in one day. I had to stick with passwords. After testing my fingerprint for other purposes, I know the scanner works, but it no longer accepts fingerprints at power-on authentication. Is there a way for me to reset my fingerprints?

Hi,

If you are using HP Client Security, you can reset the fingerprint authentication from there.

Thank you! I went to HP client security and discovered what you were talking about. However, I was unable to delete my fingerprints and re-enroll, (though after I clicked the cleanup button it said they were deleted from the database) and I was told after the third finger swipe my fingerprints were already enrolled. Do you have any more suggestions? Thank you for your help!
