Product: HP elite x2 g8

Bought a hp elite x2 g8 2 in 1 laptop. On very first restart i get the message 'Updates are underway. Please keep computer on.' wathever that extremely vague message is supposed to mean.

There is no loading bar or percentage done, just the waiting circle beneath it, for hours. Its obviously not applying any updates, just stuck in some loop. Might be a windows 11 problem, but as this is a completely fresh hp laptop, which came with this bug from the shelve I thought I would post it here.

Any help?
