Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Laptop connects via HDMI fine but not USB-C however it is getting charge but no LAN which indicates the ports are live.
Troubleshooting.
Tried updating drivers via HPIA.  Noticed that this one didn't bring up the all docks driver like the other laptops do.
Tried uninstalling display, USB and Extensible Host drivers via devmgmt and rebooted.
Checked Windows update and all up to date.
Tested with another new USB-C - USB-C cable.
Tested on 3 different monitors, tested other laptops on those monitors and they connect fine.
We have over 300 machines ranging from G3, G4, G5, G8, G10 and none have experienced this issue.

Seeing if anyone has a solution before we decide to wipe the machine and rebuild.

What is your G8 machine ? Thousands of different x360 models/product are out there
