Product: ZBOOK 15 G3
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dear all

I bought an SSD drive Samsung 970 EVO (500GB) to install in my ZBook 15 G3 (Windows 10). But there is some incompatibility with the BIOS because the ZBOOK does not recognize the SSD. What can I do to fix this problem ?

Any help is worthing.

the only thing you can do is update the BIOS to latest version and cross finger.

I know a guy having similar issue using a 1TB 2.5" SSD SATA. It was a couple of years ago , I don't remember if BIOS update fixed or not such issue.

Samsung has an NVMe driver for this model might give that a try.

Hello

 

driver are useful IF BIOS recognize the device. in this case disk is not available in the OS , otherwise it would work with NMVE driver integratrd in Windows 10.
