I see you need help in upgrading the SSD, onHP Notebook - 15q-bu107tx. Don't worry as I have a few suggestions which should help you.

After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA hard drive installed on the PC.

 See the below upgrade information:

Firstly, thanks for the information. so, as per your information i can make use of "256 GB Value SSD + 1 TB HDD" configuration RIGHT?

And before purchasing a new SSD, allow me to be more specific with few questions,

1) What type of M.2 slot is available on HP 15Q-BU107TX (B Type, or M Type, or B-M Type) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M.2#/media/File:M2_Edge_Connector_Keying.svg

2) What is the SSD form factor support? (2242 or 2280)

Thanks,

Ajay
