I recently replaced my hp laptops battery after it was not turning on the only time it shows signs of life is when I plug ac adapter in and a white light flashes 9 times next to the ac adapter sometimes an orange light follows by a white light also flashes also when I first replaced the battery and plugged ac adapter in the caps lock light comes on and then turns off. I’ve tried removing battery and plugging into ac adapter with no signs of turning on I’m left with no options and would really appreciate some help. Extra info: first time I realised this was when the laptop was at 9 percent or so and when I plugged the ac adapter in the laptops port it was not showing as charging on laptops screen so I figured it might be battery problem but now after changing battery I still have no signs of life.
