I have a work HP computer that connect with dual monitors to a HP C - Dock G5 docking station. I just purchased a Personal Computer (HP 15DY5073DX) that has Windows 11.....when I try to connect the docking station it is not connecting.....Is this docking station compatible?....Any suggested set up or trouble shooting tips?

From its specs, your computer only has one hopeless USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate (supports data transfer only and does not support charging or external monitors) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

  • Charge your machine,
  • Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter

In short, It is NOT compatible with HP USB-C F5 dock nor any USB-C docks. You can use a simple option to connect  more monitors and others peripherals
