If anyone is interested in this let me know and I will share all details, but had a laptop sent in for repair to HP----- It was 2nd repair in 2 weeks ------ I had sent it in a brand new box, that they made me wait on for a week... They "repaired it" again..... Then wadded up power supply...  Greasy finger prints all on lapotop...

HERE IS THE KICKER THO.....

THEY RETURNED IT TO ME IN A

*********USED BOX*********

********THEY RECEIVED FROM 1 DAY BEFORE**********

********** FROM A NURSING HOME / HEALTH FACILITY *********

*********** I KNOW THIS BECAUSE THE LABELS WERE LEFT ON THE RETURN BOX, JUST STUCK A NEW ONE ON****

+++++ According to a study published in The Journal of Hospital Infections, the coronavirus persists on paper between 3 hours to 5 days. The larger the amount present, the longer it lasts on the paper surface.++++++

WHICH WAS IN THE RANGE OF WHEN I RECEIVED USED BOX FROM TIME IT WAS SHIPPED FROM HEALTH CARE FACILITY++++

Now I'm sure they won't care, but it really makes me see how much care / responsibility for customer safety is taken..  Well they didn't shoot me in they eye with a snot cannon, but about the next best thing...

Is this OK?????

  • I have submitted a request that someone take a look.

Worth Noting

  • Please know that our Community is not HP Technical Support.
  • Our request for assistance on your behalf does not influence the outcome:  Our request is not a magic back door into HP.
  • The time frame (how long it takes) for a response is not controlled by the Community.
  • When there is a response, a Community moderator / agent will (should) post back on this thread before using other methods to contact you.

Note to those reading:

  • Do not contact random numbers posted in a public or private message by “new members”.  Vermin are looking for victims – don’t be next.
  • Please do not post any personal or case information here - we cannot make use of the data.
  • Posting personal information at a public site increases your risk from rats and scammers.
