HP EliteBook 840 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

right now if I want to get the result of pressing F5 I have to press FN and F5 key.

If I press F5 i get the volume up.

Is there a way to have all the F1 F2 .... F12 keys working, and if I want to enable special keys like volume or wireless I have to press FN + F5 ?

Kindest regards.

The notebook is a HP EliteBook 840 G5

On newer notebooks you can press Fn+Left Shift to use F-keys normally (it'll light up a LED on the Fn key). If this doesn't work, there's a setting in BIOS Setup.
