EliteBook 840 G6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The packaging for the new 'Elitebook 840 G6' computers that come with a 'Thunderbolt 120W G2' could really use some improvement. The computer itself seems pretty secure, but the problem is there is this giant empty space taken up by only the small box that houses the dock.

Through shipping and carrying around, you can hear and tell this little dock box is flying around inside, and probably hitting the computer itself.

I saw many packing tests including dropping a box from a truck to hard surfaces. I believe HP follows that standard.

Physically I can't see how the box hits the computer during normal operations UNLESS someone deliberately crushes the box.

Hope this makes sense

Regards.
