HP EliteBook Folio 9470m shuts down from low battery WITHOUT pro-active warning

My HP EliteBook Folio 9470m has a bad habit of quitting, WITHOUT WARNING, while operating in battery mode.

YES, there IS a battery-level indicator present in the taskbar, and yes, it works. BUT, who wants to spend their life LOOKING at this indicator every 10 or 15 minutes.

Most good systems have a pro-active, visual warning message that POPS UP on the screen, to tell you that there's 10 or 15 or 5 (minutes or percentage) of battery power remaining and, something like "Would you like to plug in now to avoid losing your work?"

Is there no such utility available for this (otherwise) sophisticated laptop?

This question was (SORT OF, but not adequately) dealt with previously at https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Battery-keeps-dying-without-lo... but the question wasn't really asked OR answered in a way that covered the subject of a POP-UP warning, which is the only useful solution.

I would appreciate knowing if there's either an HP or an aftermarket applet that can perform this function.

Thanks,

Michael
