HP EliteBook x360 G6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi guys,

I have a new HP EliteBook x360 1040 G6 connected with a HP USB-C Dock G4.

OS: Windows 10 LTSC x64

I get approx. every 30 seconds a disconnect sound. All devices in device Manager look good, no errors or warnings. I only get these sounds, if the Notebook is connected to the Docking Station.

So I installed USBDeview and see that the two Generic SuperSpeed USB Hubs are created every 30 seconds.

I switched to the device manager, the devices can be found under USB-Controller.

Under Properties -> something like Energy: I can switch off the first Option, something like "device can switch off the device, to save Energy"

If I unselect this option, the sound and the new-creation of the device is gone.

This is a Workaround, not a solution. If I reconnect the Docking Station again or on another port, the Problem occurs again.

I tried any driver, which I can find on the HP pages. Has anybody the same Problem or a solution for me?

Thanks

Chris
