Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The USB ports on my HP Elitebook 830 G8 has slowly stopped working.

When this first started happening I'd hold the power button down for 30 seconds, boot back up and everything worked. Over a couple of months this slowly stopped working to the point now none of the USB ports (all ports) no longer work.

Device manage / Windows reports no faults
BIOS/UEFI USB check report no faults

I've tested with 6 different USB device, mice, keyboard, headset, port replications (A and C), another headset and nothing is recognised.

The laptop is a Microsoft Managed Device fyi. I've reset it twice and this didn't fix the problem. BIOS is locked down by my company so I can't change bios settings and they replacement is likely to be a downgrade to a G5 hence I want to fix / keep the G8 if possible.

I can see a bios update exists but it doesn't list USB under anything thats changed and also I'd have to wait for it to be available under Windows updates as MMD. I only mention this as a previos Elitebook G2 did this and the documented fix on this forum was bios update, which did work to re-enable.

I've run out of idea's at this point given everything reports no issues but to re-iterate, devices directly plugged in of all varities no longer recognised.
