Product: HP EliteBook 840 G8 Notebook PC IDS Base Model
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

When my HP Elitebook 840 G8 is connected to my HP USB-C/A Universal Dock G2 it's fan spins loudly, this hapens even if I don't have any programs open and the laptop is in sleep. However when I disconnect the Elitebook from the dock the fan noise is much quieter. I was wondering is this behavior normal or is there something wrong with my laptop/dock.
