Product: HP USB-C Dock G5

So I did not have the same issue prior to the Dec 2024 firmware update (which resolved a display issue on my end when using the dock) but now I have this charging issue with the new the 1.0.23.0 Rev.B firmware released on Dec 17 2024.

 

Can HP figure this out and release a patch? I can't downgrade as it will reintroduce my display issue. Right now I am forced to keep my laptop charging with its own power supply. Prior to this I could have the dock charge my laptop, but now even though it says charging, I see my battery slowly being drained until it is empty if I don't have my laptop's charger connected to it. 

Is this a setting I can change or is this purely firmware?
