HP has poor quality products. As soon as I ordered this laptop, I noticed issues. When I unboxed it and turned it on for the first time, there was this cluster of dead pixels on the bottom left corner of my screen. The box wasn't at all damaged, and this laptop was brand new. When plugging in the laptop, there is an open crease where the laptop should be closed. I could notice the charging light flashing from the open spot in it, almost like it hadn't been closed properly. The touchscreen on the laptop is almost unusable due to the poor quality of it. It's a rough, slightly sandpaper like feeling to the touch, which attracts more dirt and grime than I have ever seen. I've only owned this laptop for around 8 months I believe, maybe less. I take incredibly good care of it using the proper tools to do so, yet there still seems to be constant issues every other week. I've noticed today that the rubber standing on the bottom of the laptop is slowly coming off, which the warranty does not cover. I bought a one-year warranty only for all of the issues the manufacturer has made to not be supported. I bought this laptop on sale, and the original price was $650. I'm not saying this should be a top-tier product, but I'm saying the quality should be decent considering the price. It's not exactly expensive, but it's not exactly cheap money either. I definitely should not be expecting so many issues for that price, and should not be expecting me to buy another product from them after this experience.
