HP MT43 Consistent 100% Disk Usage

Our MTC is using up 100% disk all of the time. The battery drains alot faster cause of this.

No matter what service you turn off it won't go away.  I've tried disabling;  "Superfetch", "Windows Search" and "Windows Defender" in particular since on the internet it said that it could be the cause of our problem.


Updating to the newest bios didn't change anything. Downloading all driver updates with help of "HP Support Assistant" didn't help either. Downloading the neweest "HP ThinUpdate" didn't seem to do anything too.


HP MT43:

HP ThinUpdate version:  We've got multiple MTC's one has version 2.4.10 and the other has version 2.5.0.

Windows Edition: Windows 10 Enterpise 2016 LTSB

Windows Version: 1607

Product ID:  00380-60510-10283-AAOEM


We have multiple MTC's with the same exact problem. Just searching on the internet didn't gave us any solutions to the cause.  Hope this will help us because it's a really trouble some.

Maybe you aleady figured this out by now. But HP support told us to update HP Write Manager to the newest version with HP thin update and it worked for us!
